3 kg of saturated liquid water, contained in a rigid container at p = 1.5 bar, is heated by a 80 W heater. a) What will the phase of the water be after a brief period of heating? Argue your case using an annotated sketch of the process on a p-v or T-v diagram. b) How long will the heat need to be applied for it to raise the pressure to 200 bar? c) Give an estimate for the average specific heat at constant volume, cv, of the water for the duration of this process - based on the changes in specific internal energy and temperature of the water in the process.
