    In physics lecture, we know that the formula for wave speed on a harmonic series is given as:

    v = sqrt (T / (M/L))

    Where,

    v = wave velocity in m / s = unknown

    T = tension force in Newtons = 338 N

    M/L = mass per unit length in kg / m = 0.01 kg / 2 m = 0.005 kg / m

    Therefore substituting the given values to the equation will result in:

    v = sqrt (338 N / (0.005 kg / m))

    v = sqrt (67,600 m^2 / s^2)

    v = 260 m / s
