A 1875 kg car moves with a velocity of 5 m/s. What is its kinetic energy?

    Kinetic energy = (1/2) x (mass) x (speed) ²

    = (1/2) x (1875 kg) x (5 m/s) ²

    = (1/2) x (1875 kg) x (25 m²/s²)

    = (937.5 kg) x (25 m²/s²

    = 23,437.5 joules
