    Initial velocity, u = 40 m/s

    Final velocity, v = ?

    t = 2s

    g ≈ 9.8 m/s²

    v = u + gt. Since it is a free fall, acceleration due to gravity, g

    v = 40 + 9.8*2

    v = 59.6 m/s
