A stone has a mass of 100 grams and a volume of 10 mL. Water has a density of 1 g/mL. Will the stone float or sink? Explain.

    To find if the stone will sink, we have to find out the density of the stone.

    Density = mass/volume = 100g/10ml = 10g/ml

    To stone will sink because it has a higher density.
