As water is to human being, energy is to development. Energy is the source of everything in today's life of the modern society. It is the backbone of any economy. We need source of energy to run industries, for mobility, to produce electricity and also to convert one type of energy into another type.

But the sad reality is that the source of energy that we obtained from the non renewable source such as coal, fossils, etc are soon becoming lesser in number and we will fall short of such sources if we do not opt for other renewable sources for energy.

Renewable energy are those energy that are obtained from renewable sources such as wind energy, solar energy, tides and waves energy, geothermal energy. etc. Thus converting such energy into other forms and making less use of it or wasting energy will lead to great loss and will have large impact on the society.
