There is a copper coil present in the electric geyser which gets hot when electricity is passed through it. This rod makes the water in the geyser hot.

the phenomenon which occurs is only the transfer of electric energy into the heat energy ...
the water enters through the input and then it is passed into a container having alloy coil which is also covered by conductor of heat but this conductor cannot pass electricity into water but only heat ...
then water is heated over there and comes out through outlet ...
