You want to reduce your energy bills.

A.) calculate the power of a light bulb that transfers 6000J every minute.

B.) calculates the power of a different bulb which has a current of 0.05 A through it when there is a potential difference of 240 V through it.

C.) both bulbs are equally bright. Indicate and explain which bulb you should use.

    A. The formula for power is Work done/time

    6000J/60seconds = 100J/s or 100W

    B. Another formula for power is Current * Voltage

    0.05*240 = 12W
