    This problem right here is a free fall problem. We are asked to find the velocity of the statue falling after a certain time. We use the formulas:

    t = sqrt (2y/g)

    and

    v = sqrt (2gy)

    We calculate as follows:

    1.75 = sqrt (2 (y) / 9.81)

    y = 15.02

    v = sqrt (2 (9.81) (15.02))

    v = 17.17 m/s
