    Isomers

    Explanation; Isomers are compounds with the same molecular formula but different structural formula. They have the same molecular formula, but have a different arrangement of the atoms in space. isomerism excludes any different arrangements which areas a result of the molecule rotating as a whole, or rotating about particular bonds. Isomerism may be structural isomerism where atoms are arranged in different order, or may be chain isomerism which occur as a result of branching in carbon chains.
