    Heat absorbed, Q is given by;

    Q = mCΔT, where m = mass of kettle = 920 g = 0.92 kg; C = Specific heat capacity = 420 J/kg. K, ΔT = change in temperature = 93-15 = 78 K

    Substituting;

    Q = 0.92*420*78 = 30,139.2 J
