How important is your role as a human being in the natural world

Well, the natural world has existed for a long time without humans, so we know that we're not indispensable to the natural world.

We can influence it though, as is shown by the current man-made global warming: so it is important that we take good care of the part of the natural world that we live in so that we can live in it for a long time.
