    Explanation:

    Hair cells work as sensory receptors of the auditory system in human beings. They detect any movement happened within their respective environment. The outer hair cells work in transducing lesser audible sound that reaches cochlea.

    And from here, the sound passes due to the property of electro motility. And then, the hair cells inner worked to change the sound into the form of electrical signals. These are transmitted to brain stem through the auditory nerve. Meanwhile, the inner hair cells leak calcium ion in the process, which causes tonic release.
