A object with a mass of 70 kilograms is supported at a height 8 meters above the ground. what's the potential energy of the object with respect to the ground

    Potential Energy = mgh,

    where m = mass in kg, g ≈ 10 m/s², h = height above ground = 8 m

    PE = mgh

    = 70*10*8 = 5600 J
