What happens when an object has a density greater than that of the surrounding liquid?

    The object will sink

    Explanation: This happens as for an object to float its denisty should be less than water and this is the reason why sips float, the amount of water it displaces should be equal to the weight of the ship to float otherwise it will sink. This is related to archimede's principle
