    1500 kg/m³

    Explanation:

    tension = Apparent weight = 0ne third of the weight of sphere

    Let the true weight = W

    Buoyant force = True weight - Apparent weight

    Volume x density of water x g = W - W/3

    V x 1000 x g = 2 W / 3

    V x 1000 x g = 2 x V x d x g / 3

    Where, d is the density of sphere

    1000 = 2d/3

    d = 3000 / 2

    d = 1500 kg/m³

    Thus, the density of sphere is 1500 kg/m³.
