    Maximum force the car can create = mass * maximum acceleration

    mass = 1300 kg, maximum acceleration = 3 m/s²

    maximum force = 1300*3 = 3,900 N

    New mass after addition of luggage = 1300+400 = 1700 kg

    acceleration = maximum force/mass = 3900/1700 = 2.29 m/s²
