Will the body be travelling with a constant speed or a constant acceleration if the distance travelled by the body is directly proportional to time?

    Distance (d) is proportional to time (t)

    d α t (You can remove the proportionality operator provided that you add a constant)

    so

    d = const x t

    d/t = const

    we know that

    d/t = v

    so v = const

    so constant speed
