The difference between a physical system and a social system is that a physical system is a group of physical parts that perform a function. Robots are an example of a physical system and computers. An example of a natural physical system is the solar system. A social system is a group of people or animals or other organisms working together to preform a task. For example a flock of geese and a pack of wolves. A human made example is a rock band.
