When speaking about compound machines, we are mainly first determining the word "compound". This would signify that they are (two) or/and many more machines that take place in this bus.
One way that a school bus would be known to be a compound machine would be because this school bus (in general) has multiple of machines that would make this bus work.
Some machines in this would be perhaps that (transmission, the engine its self, the plugging area) and a lot more that would make a bus a compound Machine.
