A soccer ball is traveling at a velocity of 50 m/s. The kinetic energy of the ball is 500 J. What is the mass of the soccer ball? (Formula:) 0.1 kg 0.2 kg 0.4 kg 0.5 kg.

    Kinetic energy = 1/2 x mass x velocity^2

    500 = 1/2 x mass x 50^2

    mass = 500 x 2 / (50x50)

    = 0.4kg
