Inside the universe and same for our planet there is a net flow or we can say the transmission of heat energy from one entity to another in a given way. While, the transmission of heat from a body of more temperature flows to the body of less temperature. Jessica filled one hot pack with 2000 g of salt, so, she requires an equal number of sand particles in the other bag, so, that the net flow of heat energy between the two bags can be balanced more effectively. Which is obviously the same number by means of 2000 g of salt in the second bag same as the first bag. So, we can say that an equal number of sand particles having less temperature then the first bag full of sand is required to make a balance among the two. As each of the bags will be then inside a balance of thermodynamics, and that non of the bag required to have an imbalance among the number of particles inside the two bags.
