A book on a 2 meter high shelf has 20 joules of potential energy. What is the mass of this book?

    Potential energy (PE) = Mass (m) * gravitational acceleration (g) * height (h)

    PE = 20 J

    Height = 2 m

    g = 9.8m/s²

    mass = (PE) / (g*h)

    mass = 20 / (9.8*2)

    mass = 1.02 kg
