A map featuring east Asia would show a number of tectonic plates. These plates include the Eurasian Plate, the Indo-Australian Plate, the Philippine and Pacific plates. Excluding the Pacific plate leaves the Indo-Australian plate and the Eurasian plate. The larger of these two plates is the Eurasian plate which houses the continents of both Europe and Asia.
