A cart with an initial velocity of 5.0 m/s to the right experiences a constant acceleration of 2.0 m/s2 to the right. What is the cart's displacement during the first 6.0 s of this motion

    Using the 2nd equation of linear motion, we can be able to solve the problem.

    The equation states that;

    S = ut + 1/2 at²

    Where s ⇒ displacement,

    u ⇒ initial velocity,

    t ⇒ time and

    a ⇒ is acceleration

    ∴ S = ut + 1/2 at²

    = (5 * 6) + (1/2 * 2 * 6²)

    = 30 + 36

    = 66 m
