A space-walking astronaut has become detached from her spaceship. she's floating in space while holding nothing nothing but a wrench. She is thinking how to get back to the spaceship which she can see 50 meters from her current location. what can she do to get back to the spaceship? Use language from Newton's laws of motion in your answer

    she could throw her tool belt in the opposite direction, sending her floating towards her ship. That would apply to Newton's Law ofwhat is in motion stays in motion unless interrupted. Therefore if you threw it one way you would keep going the other way because there are no molecules to interrupt your path.
