A 4 kg block is pulled with 5.6 N of force to the right. The block experiences 1.1 N of friction. What is the acceleration of the block?

    Newton's second law:

    ∑F = ma

    5.6 N - 1.1 N = (4 kg) a

    4.5 N = (4 kg) a

    a = 1.125 m/s² to the right
