How does a change in amplitude affect sound

    Ok so if it has a high amplitude the energy wave will be much bigger which would make a noise loud. Like if you were to hit a drum lightly the drum head wouldn't vibrate as much as if you were to hit it hard which would make the drum head vibrate a lot more
