On what kind of coast line would you predict the largest tidal ranges to occur?

    The tidal range is the vertical difference between the high tide and the succeeding low tide. I think the largest tidal range would occur in a cliffed coast. It is one where marine action has produced steep declivities known as cliffs. Hope this answers the question.

    The other answer is not correct. The largest tidal ranges can be found along coastlines that have a long narrow inlet of land.
