    28409.1 N

    Explanation:

    Force: This can be defined as the product of mass and acceleration. The S. I unit of force is Newton (N).

    From the question,

    F = ma ... Equation 1

    Where F = force exerted on the bullet, m = mass of the bullet, a = acceleration of the bullet.

    But,

    a = v/t ... Equation 2

    Where v = velocity, t = time.

    Substitute equation 2 into equation 1

    F = m (v/t) ... Equation 3

    Given: m = 0.05 kg, v = 625 m/s, t = 1.1 ms = 0.0011 s.

    Substitute into equation 3

    F = 0.05 (625) / 0.0011

    F = 28409.1 N
