Explain why different materials have different thresholds to change states matter

    Answer: Due to different particle sizes and temperature

    Explanation: Matter is said to be anything that occupies space. Matter has three states; Solid, Liquid and gas.

    This three states can be differenciated based on there particle sizes. A solid matter particle are closely held together this enable it have a definite shape.

    A liquid matter particles are loosed and not well packed together. It doesn't have a definite shape but the shape of the container.

    Gaseous Matter particles moves freely. They are not held together.

    Different materials have different particles sizes and it ensures their grouping also different temperature is required to change states of matter from one form to another.

    solid can change it state to liquid by melting

    Liquid can change it state to solid by freezing and also liquid to gas by heating into vapor.
