    In a parallel circuit voltage across all component of circuit are same. This is same voltage comes fro the source. On contrary, in a series circuit voltage is total voltage is the sum of voltage of individual component.

    Voltage in a parallel circuit can be given by:

    Vs = V1 = V2 = V3 and so on ...

    where, Vs is the source or battery voltage.
