A 4.02 * 10-5 kg raindrop falls vertically at constant speed under the influence of gravity and air resistance. After the drop has fallen 43 m, what is the work done by gravity? The acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s 2

    answer - 0.0169 Nm

    m = 4.02*10 - 5

    word done = force*displacement

    force = mass*acceleration due to gravity

    f = 4.02*10-5 * 9.8 = 39.39 * 10-5

    word done = 39.39 * 10-5 * 43 = 0.0169 Nm
