If the mass of the helicopter is 4500kg, and the net force on it is 18,000 N, what is the helicopter's acceleration?

    Force = mass * acceleration

    therefore, acceleration = force/mass

    force = 18,000 N, mass = 4500 kg

    acceleration = 18000/4500 = 4 m/s²
