The fast blowing wind is capable of doing more work as compared to slow-moving wind. We can understand this by taking the example of the windmill.

In the case of windmill, if the wind is blowing fast then the rotation of the rotor blades will be also fast. As we know that the windmill is used to convert the wind energy into the electrical energy. Then this electrical energy is supplied to the home.

Faster the speed of the wind, more will be the rotation of the blades of the windmill. Fast blowing wind has more kinetic energy in compare to the slow moving wind. As the slow-moving wind cannot rotate the rotor blades of the windmill. In this case, more work cannot be done as compared to slow-moving wind.
