    The object will continue to move in the north direction.

    Explanation:

    As force is a vector quantity, the force of same magnitude acting toward opposite direction will be cancelling each other. This is because the same magnitude of force is acting from opposite direction leading to cancelling of forces to east and westward push.

    Also there is no force acting towards the south direction of the object. So there will be no obstructing forces for the object moving in the north direction. Thus, it will continue to move in north direction.
