Chilli thermal energy is transferred to the surrounding air and other objects in the surrounding either by convection or Radiation

    Explanation:

As we know that chilli is put at high temperature in the room and hence the thermal energy will transfer from high temperature to low temperature.

So after some time the chilli is cooled down due to sufficient transfer of energy from chilli to the surrounding particles.

All the energy is transferred either by convection mode of heat transfer by air molecules or it is transferred by radiation.

so due to this transfer of energy to the surrounding the chilli temperature becomes lower.
