    Acceleration = (change in speed) / (time for the change)

    Change in speed = (ending speed) - (starting speed)

    Change in speed = (25 m/s) - (5 m/s) = 20 m/s

    Time for the change = 20 sec

    Acceleration = (20 m/s) / (20 sec)

    Acceleration = 1 m/s²
