    Boiling water

    Explanation:

A simple experiment that can be done to show that heat causes change in the state of a body is boiling water.

In fact, take a pot and fill it water. Then place the pot on the stove burner and turn it on: heat will be given to the water inside the pot. After a while, you will notice that the water in the pot will start boiling. Eventually, all the water will disappear, converted into steam.

This is an example of change of state, in particular from liquid state (water) into gas state (steam). The changes of state are:

    Melting (from solid to liquid)

    Boiling (from liquid to gas)

    Condensation (from gas to liquid)

    Freezing (from liquid to solid)

    Sublimation (from solid to gas)

    Deposition (from gas to solid)
