Before entering the cyclotron, the particles are accelerated by a potential difference V. Find the speed v with which the particles enter the cyclotron.

    Work = F. d = qE. d=q. V

    Kenetic energy = 1/2. M. v^2

    qV = (1/2) mv^2

    v = sqrt (2qV/m)
