    M = 200 g = 0.2 kg, the mass of the stuffed bear

    F₁ = 15 N, the force acting to the right on the bear

    F₂ = 17 N, the force acting to the left on the bear

    The net force acting on the bear is 17 - 15 = 2 N, acting to the left

    The acceleration, a, of the bear is given by

    a = (2 N) / (0.2 kg) = 10 m/s²

    Answer: 10 m/s², to the left.
