A closely wound rectangular coil of 80 turns has dimensions 25.0 cm by 40.0 cm. the plane of the coil is rotated from a position in which it makes an angle of 37.0 degrees with a magnetic field of 1.10 t to a position perpendicular to the field. the rotation takes 0.0600 s. what is the average emf e induced in the coil

    Average emf induced = - N*magnetic flux change rate

    Where,

    N = Number of turns = 80

    Magnetic flux change rate = Change of flux / time = (BA-BA CosФ) / Time

    B = 1.1 T, A = 0.25*0.40 = 0.1 m^2, Ф = 37°

    Therefore,

    Magnetic flux change rate = (1.1*0.1 - 1.1*0.1 Cos 37) / 0.06 = 0.0222 Wb/s

    Ten,

    Average emf induced = - 80*0.0222 = - 1.772 V
