    You have to use the equation of q (heat) = c (specific heat) X m (mass) X dT (change in temp)

    q (heat) = (1700 g H2O) X (4.184 J/C) X (100C-28C)

    q (heat) = 512121.6

    q (heat) = 5.1 X10^5
