A car moving at 25 m/s speeds up to 47m/s. it takes 9 seconds to do this. what is the acceleration of the car?

    Acceleration = (change in speed) / (time for the change)

    Change in speed = (47 - 25) = 22 m/s

    Acceleration = 22 / 9 = 2 and 4/9 m/s²

    (Roughly 1/4 of a 'G '.)
