    Given,

    Mass of toy dump truck = 3 kg

    Velocity = 2 m/s

    The truck has kinetic energy when moving up the ramp and has potential energy when it stops. The height will be when potential energy becomes kinetic energy

    Kinetic energy = 1/2 mv² = 1/2 x 3 x 2² = 6 Joules

    Potential Energy = mgh = Kinetic energy when truck comes to a stop

    m - mass of truck

    g - accelerations due to gravity = 9.8 m/s²

    h - height of truck from ground

    mgh = 6 Joules

    h = 6/mg = 6 / (3 x 9.8) = 6/29.4 = 0.204 m

    The truck rolls 0.204 m or 20.4 cm high up the ramp before it stops
