    2v

    Explanation:

    Work = change in energy

    W = KE

    W = ½ mv²

    At 4 times the work:

    4W = ½ mu²

    4 (½ mv²) = ½ mu²

    2 mv² = ½ mu²

    2 v² = ½ u²

    4 v² = u²

    u = 2v
