A car is travelling along a straight road at 25 m/s. To avoid an accident, the car has to brake to a

sudden stop in 2.5 s. What is the acceleration of the car?

    -10 m/s^2

    Explanation:

    Acceleration = Change of velocity over time

    25/2.5 = 10 m/s^2

    Since we are deccelerating here (Going slower) then the number is written as negative
