Do houses use parallels or series circuits

    Parallel Connection is used. This is because the voltage drop would be negligible, and u can access any equipment. If series was used then the whole circuit would be needed to complete. So you have to switch on all the appliances to access one. In series the voltage drop is also considerable.

    apartments of a few of your neighbors.

    The only things in your home that are connected in series are the switches

    that turn things on and off.
