    Final velocity (v) ² = initial velocity (u) ² + (2*gravitational acceleration (a) * distance (s)

    where u = 0m/s, a=9.8m/s² and s = 2.3 m

    v² = 0 + (2*9.8*2.3) = 45.08

    v=√45.08=6.71 m/s is the impact velocity of apple
