When 43 volts are connected across a resistor, the current through the resistor is 4.8 amps. What is the resistance of the resistor (in ohms) ?

    Voltage = V = 43V

    Current = I = 4.8 amp

    Resistance = R=?

    Since

    V = I R

    R = V / I = 43 / 4.8 = 8.95 ohms
